The project explored how coronavirus changed the ways in which children and young people can get involved in projects or access services.

Living Museums (2021)

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), and working alongside Historic Environment Scotland, the Living Museums project took an in-depth look at how the museum sector can appeal to, and engage young people aged between 14 and 21.

Activate Your Rights (2019)

Activate Your Rights was a project commissioned by the Scottish Government in 2019, led by Young Scot and supported by Children in Scotland.

Changing Gears (2020)

Children in Scotland was funded by Cycling Scotland and Transport Scotland to engage with children and young people about its Bikeability programme and more widely to share their opinions and experiences on road safety and health and wellbeing.

Crown Estate (2019-2020)

Report created alongside children and young people used to inform the development of Crown Estate Scotland 2020-23 Corporate Plan.

Evaluation of the ‘Home and Belonging’ Initiative (2019-2022)

An evaluation of the £3 million Home and Belonging initiative which was devised by the Life Changes Trust to explore innovative approaches to improving young people’s experiences as they move on from care and into their own homes.

Creating Safety: child protection in the arts (2019)

An updated edition of Creating Safety: Child Protection in the arts, a resource produced by Children in Scotland in collaboration with Creative Scotland, has been launched.

Health Inequalities: Participative Research Project

A participative research project with children and young people aged 10-18 living in areas of high deprivation in Glasgow and Dundee.

Young Media Voices

A project which supported young people to learn media development skills and work alongside media partners to share the stories that matter most in their communities
