Children in Scotland's Annual Conference 2019 – speaker presentations
This conference took place on 6 and 7 November 2019, at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
Our award-winning annual conference is the flagship CPD event of the year for those working in the children's sector.
It connected colleagues from public, private and third sector organisations to learn about and explore the challenges and opportunities facing the sector today, hear about good practice, and plan improvements to their own services.
The event had 30+ learning sessions, with children and young people’s voices at the heart of the event – they even led 30% of all sessions.
Our sessions followed six themes:
- Health and wellbeing
- Early years, learning and education
- Tackling inequalities
- Supporting families and communities
- Participation, engagement and rights
- Organisational and workforce development
