Finance and Membership Assistant Officer

  • Full time, 35 hours per week
  • £26,251.90 per annum
  • Children in Scotland’s office is in Edinburgh and this will be your official contracted place of work. We have introduced hybrid working based on trust and flexibility. As long as business needs are met, individuals have flexibility in terms of where they work (home/office)

Do you have good communication skills? Are you looking to work in a fast paced and vibrant environment? Do you enjoy the process of organising? Do you have high levels of accuracy in your work? Then this could be the role for you.

We are looking for a new Finance and Membership Assistant Officer. This is a role that offers lots of variety as you would be crucial both in supporting our financial management, as well as helping maintain and build the membership which sits at the heart of Children in Scotland.

The role will suit someone who wants to help make a difference in the lives of children in Scotland. They will like variety in their role, have an eye for detail and excellent organisation skills, as well as the ability to build relationships across organisations. They will bring with them experience of supporting the delivery of services or activities, including administrative tasks.

The post will sit in the Central Services Team and have responsibilities across the organisation with specific roles to support the Finance function and help deliver the Membership Service.

You need experience of accurately undertaking administrative tasks and be able to demonstrate good data entry skills. You will need to be able to combine this with good communication skills, both verbal and written and be comfortable in playing a public facing role for the organisation.

Children in Scotland is a great place to work, and you would be an important element in its success going forwards.
