Learning and Events Co-ordinator

As a Learning & Events Coordinator at Children in Scotland, Aisha plans and organises events like workshops and training sessions that help professionals working with children and young people gain valuable skills and knowledge. Handling a range of aspects from coordinating speakers and venues to promoting the events and ensuring they run smoothly. This role is all about creating impactful learning experiences that support the well-being and development of children across Scotland.

Prior to this Aisha Completed her 4-year Degree in Psychology from Heriot Watt University, giving her a great understanding of the human mind and developing mind of children and young people. Aisha led a research project focussing on the struggles in help seeking behaviour among young people, adding meaningful evidence and research to the existing literature. Alongside this Aisha was an event leader, setting up greatly diverse events for the student at Heriot Watt University creating meaningful connections among all students.

In her spare time Aisha enjoys trying new recipes, creating engaging social media content, and diving into any form of arts and crafts. To keep active Aisha enjoys playing sports such as badminton and basketball and most importantly loves her sleep!
