Making Children's Rights Real Across Scotland - Our Hearings, Our Voice's workshop presentation
Our Hearings, Our Voice (OHOV) held a workshop at the Making Children's Rights Real Across Scotland event on 27 May 2021:
During the workshop, members of OHOV introduced participants to the 40 Calls to Action, tangible changes which will support the further incorporation of children’s rights in the Hearings System, in particular in relation to their safety, participation, use of information and adults’ understanding of their rights.
Participants were encouraged to share their responses, reflect on how they can implement these in their own and their agency’s practice and how they can overcome barriers to change.

OHOV has launched an interactive zine that includes animations, verbatim testimonies, poetry and music created and performed by the young people from OHOV and brought to life using actors’ voices and augmented reality. It also includes 40 Calls to Action for change and improvements within the Children’s Hearings System.
