Angus provides the ideal setting for testing rural childcare provision, focused on flexible childcare booking systems, allowing parents to tailor their childcare to their needs.

The ACF is enabling this company to open two new rural services. One is based in Arbroath, serving four local primaries, and provides a useful test of OSC provision in a rural town setting.

The other will be based in Monikie village, potentially serving up to six small remote and rural primaries, testing improved OSC access for remote rural families and addressing the hidden poverty of typically farm-based employees or owners.
