Alison Hay
Access to Childcare Fund Lead
Before joining the Access to Childcare Fund (ACF), Alison was previously Senior Policy and Participation Officer on the CHANGE project, working to improve access to childcare and family support in the East of Glasgow.
This experience has helped inform how she supports the ACF projects across Scotland to provide childcare solutions enabling more accessible and affordable childcare for families and to helping to reduce barriers.
She has more than 30 years’ experience of working within the Early Years Sector including in development and training and internal verification.
As well as being qualified in Early Years, Alison has a BA (Hons) in Humanities and a Postgraduate Qualification in Strategic Thinking: Systems for managing change.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to antique/vintage fairs and book groups.
