Children in Scotland Convenor steps down from role
Due to illness, Dr Dame Denise Coia has had to step down as Convener of Children in Scotland with immediate effect.
Children in Scotland Chief Executive Jackie Brock said:
“We have been very lucky to have the benefit of Denise as our convener for 18 months.
“In that time, she oversaw several of our key achievements such as our 25 Calls campaign and our award-winning Food, Families, Futures programme, and helped to strengthen our children and young people’s advisory group, Changing our World.
“We wish Denise all the very best and we know she will remain a close friend and supporter of Children in Scotland.”
Succession arrangements are under consideration by the Children in Scotland Board of Directors.
