Announcing our new partnership with the RS Macdonald Charitable Trust

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with the RS Macdonald Charitable Trust to support the charities funded by them in the 2022-23 financial year.  

Working together, we have created an innovative model for support and development that gives RS Macdonald grant-holders access to professional training and networking opportunities. 

The partnership is based on shared values and shared ambition.

The RS Macdonald Charitable Trust awards around £3m of grants a year to a wide range of charities working in Scotland. This funding is provided to organisations and projects aligned to the Trust’s funding themes.

Our Learning & Events team provides vital training to professionals working with and for children and young people. And as a member organisation with 450 organisations and individuals in membership, this partnership provides a great opportunity to join us and the RS Macdonald Charitable community to develop a stronger workforce.

The partnership will provide discounted access for grant holders to our award-winning open learning programme as well as bespoke learning opportunities that target the needs of individual teams across organisations.  

RS Macdonald grant-holders will also have access to wider Children in Scotland online membership benefits including access to publications, free training events held for its members, forum meetings and discounts on advertising.
