Advice & Information Officer – Enquire

Sarah joined Enquire as Advice and Information Officer in August 2024. She offers advice and information on children and young people’s rights to additional support for learning.

Service Manager – Children’s Views

Marie is Service Manager for the My Rights, My Say Children’s Views service, as well as the Under 12 Tribunal support project. She also manages the Children’s Views component of Enquire’s Complex Needs work.

Finance and Central Services Officer

Angela is part of the Central Services team working on administration related tasks within the team and support to the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Higgins

Senior Advice and Information Officer – Enquire

Jennifer joined Enquire as a Senior Advice and Information Officer, where she oversees the service’s written advice and information resources and leads on their maintenance and development.

Development Manager

Lucy works as part of the Services, Participation and Policy team and has a focus on raising awareness of children’s rights to be supported and listened to, in particular those with additional support needs.

Participation and Policy Officer

Sara joined Children in Scotland as Participation and Policy Officer in January 2026.

Barbara Kennedy

Children’s Views Project Officer

Barbara joined Children in Scotland in August 2025 as a Children’s Views Project Officer to support education professionals to better engage with children with complex needs.

Learning & Membership Manager

Cat (she/her) joined Children in Scotland in January 2019 with a strong background in education that focused on professional learning, community engagement and environmental education.

Policy, Projects and Participation Manager

Roisín joined Children in Scotland in October 2024. Her role is to support the children’s sector workforce to improve outcomes for children.

Mohit Lakhanpal

Communications Officer – Enquire

Mohit has worked in the third sector since 2013, while he was at university completing a degree in Marketing.

Advice and Information Officer – Enquire

Lisa started with Enquire as Advice and Information Officer in August 2022. In this role, Lisa offers advice and information on children and young people’s rights to additional support for learning.

Head of Development & Engagement

Simon is part of Children in Scotland’s Leadership Team and manages the Development & Engagement Department, comprising the Communications & Marketing team, Income Generation team, Learning & Events team, and the Membership Service. He also coordinates Children in Scotland’s child protection activity.
