Senior Development Officer

Sophie Elliott is Projects and Participation Officer at Children in Scotland. Prior to joining the organisation in July 2023, she was a primary school teacher with a specific interest in child-centred provision for young people with additional support needs.

Advice and Information Officer – Outreach and Participation

Beth Fyfe is an Outreach and Participation Officer for the Enquire service, supporting the outreach programme and working on participation projects including the Inclusion Ambassadors and My Rights, My Say Young Advisors.

Advice & Information Officer – Enquire

Sarah Gallier is Advice and Information Officer for the Enquire service. Joining the organisation in August 2024, She offers advice and information on children and young people’s rights to additional support for learning.

Service Manager – Children’s Views and Resolve Mediation

Marie Harrison is Service Manager for the My Rights, My Say Children’s Views service, as well as the Under 12 Tribunal support project. She also manages the Children’s Views component of Enquire’s Complex Needs work.

Services Manager – Enquire (Maternity Cover)

Alison Hay is Services Manager (Maternity Cover) for the Enquire service. Before joining the organisation, Alison worked as a Senior Policy Officer on the CHANGE project and as the Access to Childcare Fund Lead.

Finance and Central Services Officer

Angela Higgins is Finance and Central Services Officer at Children in Scotland. She works as part of the Central Services team, focusing on administration-related tasks while also supporting the Board of Directors.

Jennifer Higgins

Senior Advice and Information Officer – Enquire

Jennifer Higgins is Senior Advice and Information Officer for the Enquire service, where she oversees the its written advice and information resources and leads on maintenance and development.

Development Manager

Lucy Johnson is Development Manager at Children in Scotland, working as part of the Services, Participation and Policy team. She focuses on raising awareness of children’s rights to be supported and listened to – in particular those with additional support needs.

Sara Kemal is Participation and Policy Officer at Children in Scotland.

Learning & Membership Manager

Cat Kozlowski (she/her) is Learning & Membership Manager at Children in Scotland. Cat Joined the organisation in January 2019 with a strong background in education that focused on professional learning, community engagement and environmental education. She has a keen interest in equality and sustainability.

Policy, Projects and Participation Manager

Roisín is Policy, Projects and Participation Manager at Children in Scotland. She joined the organisation in October 2024 and her role is to support the children’s sector workforce to improve outcomes for children.

Mohit Lakhanpal

Communications Officer – Enquire

Mohit is Communications Officer for the Enquire service. He has worked in the third sector since 2013 and supported a wide range of charities, including West of Scotland Regional Equality Council (WSREC) and GalGael.
