Fundraising events
Can you walk a walk, dance, or bake to help children across Scotland?
Taking part in a fundraising event is a great way to support our cause. Whether you can run, jog, dance, bake or game, there are so many ways to support Children in Scotland through fundraising activities.
The Kiltwalk
The Kiltwalk events are a brilliant chance for staff and supporters of Children in Scotland to come together, have fun and raise funds for our cause. Why not make 2026 your year to get fit, make some new friends, and support children who need us most. Register now or get in touch for more information.
Fundraising ideas
Fundraising challenges come in many forms, and we welcome your ideas! Whether you’re fundraising at home, school or in the workplace, here’s a few that might inspire you:
- Sponsored Challenge – Run a 5K, climb a mountain, cycle a certain distance, or even do a dance marathon with donation pledges.
- Birthday Fundraiser – Ask for donations instead of gifts, using social media or a platform like JustGiving.
- Coffee Morning or Bake Sale – Host at home, work, or school.
- Gaming for Good – Stream gameplay online and collect donations from viewers.
- Declutter for Charity – Sell items on eBay or Facebook Marketplace and donate the proceeds.
- Talent Night or Open Mic – Organize a small event (live or virtual) and donate ticket or entry proceeds.
