Sara Kemal

Sara Kemal is Participation and Policy Officer at Children in Scotland.

Sara joined the organisation in January 2026 and has a background in community dance. In addition to her work at Children in Scotland, Sara is a dance artist whose practice focuses on engagement, collaboration, and creating inclusive opportunities for people to engage with dance. Sara’s approach is also informed by her academic study. She has a masters degree in education from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is interested in exploring the intersection of research and creative practice.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys running, reading and travelling.
