We have created this guide in collaboration with the Ambassadors who have provided the examples used throughout. It is a resource for both children, young people and the adults who work with them. It is intended to support your understanding on how young people with additional support needs want people to speak to them and why this is important.

Inclusion Ambassadors – Language and communication guide: Supporting activities (August 2022)

To support you to use this guide in your setting we have suggested a number of short and simple activities that you can work on with children and young people in your class. These should all be easily adapted and should be seen as starter ideas. You will no doubt have other ideas of things you can do on your own.
