Innes joined the Communications & Marketing team as an Officer in January 2026. He joined Children in Scotland the previous year as part of My Rights, My Say, a role which saw him co-managing the Young Advisors group.

Before this, he worked in digital media and communications for various organisations. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication, specialising in the quality of language surrounding debates in humanitarian interventions. Alongside his communications experience, he has a strong background in youth work.

Outside of work

Outside of work, you’ll often find Innes in a podcast studio or at the football.
