It is more important than ever to ensure that children and young people’s personal information is protected and that they’re empowered and safe from harm.

Organisations working with children and young people hold a unique responsibility, they must champion children’s privacy and uphold the highest standards of data protection. These organisations have specific responsibilities under data protection law and need robust governance in place.

This session will help charities to understand their obligations, strengthen practices and build confidence that they are protecting children’s information lawfully and responsibly, ultimately safeguarding the children and young people they support.
