Sustainability at Conference
Each year we're getting a little bit greener
In 2026, we continue on our sustainability journey – an increasingly important focus for us under the direction of our children and young people’s advisory group, Changing our World.
Building on our efforts at our last conference, this year sees us take the following steps to reduce our impact on the environment:
- Continuing with a venue which provides a carbon offset for every delegate attending the conference and is easily accessible with increased public transport links
- Having plant-based and vegetarian-heavy catering
- Continuing with our electronic programme to reduce paper use
- Encouraging exhibitors to go paperless where they can
- Children in Scotland staff and contributors using public transport wherever possible.
