Children in Scotland Magazine (titled Insight until Autumn/Winter 2025) is our flagship membership publication, providing a space for inspiration, reflection, discussion and sharing of knowledge.
Through a combination of quality features, interviews and comments, the Magazine:

- Promotes best practice

- Brings together diverse perspectives on how to improve children and young people’s lives.
- The publication, also available to non-members via digital subscription, is an invaluable tool for the children’s sector workforce, supporting critical thinking and continued professional development.

Our first themed edition, Issue 10 delves into the digital world and the delicate balance our sector must strike: helping children and young people to make the most of opportunities, while also protecting them from the risks.
Across in-depth interviews, features and analysis, we hear how children and young people, and the adults that support them, are finding their footing in their offline and online lives, covering issues including phone-free learning, online bullying, digital wellbeing and the reading for pleasure crisis.
