How good is our third sector participation in Children’s Services Planning? Learning report on 2024-25 intensive locality support (April 2025)
This report aims to provide insight into the use of the ‘How good is our third sector participation in Children’s Services Planning?’ self-evaluation toolkit across 2024-25. In that period, Children in Scotland, through the Supporting the Third Sector Project (STTS Project) worked directly with three Children’s Services Planning Partnerships to consider the role of the third sector in local children’s services planning.

The Inclusion Ambassadors discussed transitions from school across a number of meetings from early 2022 through February 2023. The group have met with a representative from the Scottish Government who is working on the Transitions Strategy to share their views directly and help create a vision statement for the Strategy.

Time to Talk Next Steps – Summary Report (June 2023)
The summary report of the Time to Talk Next Steps Scotland project, which was a 12-month pilot programme trialing online support for young people aged 16-25 with additional needs in Scotland: hearing their voice, building confidence, and supporting transitions. The evaluation captured additional learning which informed a number of recommendations.
