Sara Kemal

Sara joined Children in Scotland as Participation and Policy Officer in January 2026.

Sara has a background in community dance. In addition to her work at Children in Scotland, Sara is a dance artist whose practice focuses on engagement, collaboration, and creating inclusive opportunities for people to engage with dance. Sara’s approach is also informed by her academic study. She has a masters degree in education from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is interested in exploring the intersection of research and creative practice.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys running, reading and travelling.
