Children in Scotland unveils new website to enhance support for the children’s sector
Children in Scotland this week launched a new digital platform offering easier access to resources, news, events, and other opportunities for children’s sector professionals.
The redesigned website offers improved navigation, a mobile-friendly design, and new content areas focusing on participation, children and young people’s views, and professional learning.
An emphasis on searchability has created better routes to Children in Scotland’s wide range of resources, events, and other opportunities to engage with Scotland’s children’s sector.
Some of the highlights of Children in Scotland’s new website include:
- A new resources library of practical guides, reports, and publications for practitioners and sector professionals
- Streamlined events listings, with member and open-access events clearly labelled
- A dedicated section for free online learning for the children’s sector in Scotland
- Guidance and information on children and young people’s participation.
Simon Massey, Head of Development & Engagement at Children in Scotland, said:
Children in Scotland’s staff and membership have been driving developments in the children’s sector for over 30 years, and it’s wonderful to have a new digital home for the extensive range of resources we produce. Whether you’re looking for evidence on topics like wellbeing, UNCRC or GIRFEC, need support with safeguarding, or simply interested in membership with us, I would encourage you to come and see what Children in Scotland has to offer.
