- Participants understand how the using the SHANNARI indicators can redress power imbalances for the child caught in the middle of a family breakdown.
- Participants will have considered the role of empathy in understanding how children might feel when they visit a Child Contact Centre
The aim of the session is to introduce the participants to what a Child Contact Centre is and the work that Relationships Scotland’s network does. The workshop will further explore how using the SHANARRI indicators can help ensure that the child’s rights and needs are kept at the heart of the practice, by all the adults who are involved in the process of child contact regardless of their own agendas.
