This event is for professionals who support children and young people, and their families

How do we know our work with children and families is making a difference? How do we demonstrate it to funders, partners, and each other?

This hands-on workshop shares four methods Mellow Parenting uses to measure and demonstrate impact: psychometric questionnaires, written feedback, collaborative artwork, and short podcast-style interviews. Participants will compare the kind of story each one tells, and discuss what might transfer to their own team or service, taking into consideration factors such as time, budget, literacy, or trust.

By the end of the session, participants will identify which approach best fits a given audience, goal, or practical constraint such as time, budget, or literacy as well as leave with one concrete idea to trial differently in their own setting.
