Self-care at Conference

Each year our conference covers a range of topics, some of which may be challenging for attendees to be involved in. We encourage all attendees to be mindful of their well-being and suggest the following steps are taken before, during and after the conference.
  • Fully read the conference programme so you are aware of the content and activities in each workshop and keynote
  • Fully complete the registration form to include any accessibility, dietary and lactation space requirements
  • Know that it’s okay to step out of workshops and presentations if you need some space
  • Make use of the quiet room available at the venue
  • Make use of the green space located 10 minute walk away at Braid Park
  • Speak to a member of Children in Scotland staff if you need further support
  • Debrief with colleagues or your line manager when you get back to work
