About this event

This half-day workshop will discuss the principles of performance management, including proactively supporting staff, turning around poor performance, managing sickness absence, disciplinary processes and, if required, the legal tools available.

Facilitator bio

Gillespie Macandrew is a Scottish law firm with significant experience in assisting charities, trustees and not-for-profit organisations. The company has been Corporate Partners of Children in Scotland since 2013.

Gillespie Macandrew donates a percentage of their pre-tax profits to specific Scottish charities, Children in Scotland being one of them. These unrestricted funds are essential to the delivery of our vision of all children in Scotland having an equal chance to flourish, providing us with flexibility to use the money where need is greatest. In addition to supporting us with a financial contribution Gillespie Macandrew also provide our members with a free legal helpline and deliver a range of legal workshops, free to our members.
