respectme: Policy and Improvement Officer

  • Full time (37.5 hrs per week)
  • £30,239 - £35,230 per annum
  • Hybrid role, office base at Brunswick House, Glasgow

respectme, Scotland’s Anti-Bullying Service is delivering the national roll-out of the exciting and innovative ‘respectme reward’ programme, which seeks to recognise, share and celebrate good anti-bullying policy and practice.

We are looking to recruit a new team member to the role of Policy and Improvement Officer to play a key part in this work which will involve influencing improvement in anti-bullying policy and practice in education and youth settings across Scotland. Through application of improvement methodology, self-assessment frameworks and behaviour change approaches, the post holder will work alongside key stakeholders to benchmark progress, validate outcomes and develop recommendations for improvement.

The post holder will apply evidence and experience from stakeholders to advance policy and practice and further progress the anti-bullying agenda in Scotland. The role will involve working alongside key national and local partners, advising and supporting them in embedding effective anti-bullying policy and practice, supporting them to trial new approaches to addressing bullying, and developing new resources for a range of audiences.
