Mark Patterson
Senior Advice and Information Officer – Enquire
Mark has worked with Enquire since 2018, offering advice on children and young people’s rights to additional support for learning. As well as helping manage Enquire’s helpline, Mark contributes to Enquire’s written publications, websites and outreach work.
Mark has a Scots law degree and he worked in a variety of roles with Citizens Advice Scotland prior to joining Enquire. He was the in-court adviser for Edinburgh Sheriff Court and a policy officer for rights and redress issues. He has also worked as a mentor to young people facing challenges with their learning and was a children’s panel member in Edinburgh for three and a half years.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys dragging himself up Munros before cooling off with some outdoor swimming.
