Ellen Morton
Advice and Information Officer - Enquire
Ellen joined Enquire as an Advice and Information Officer in January 2024.
In this role they offer advice and information on children and young people’s rights to additional support for learning.
Ellen has a background in education, having previously worked as a teacher in Gaelic-medium education. In this role they took a particular interest in the specific experiences and needs of disabled children in bilingual education. They are currently studying for a master’s degree in Gaelic Education with the University of the Highlands & Islands where their research is focused on how schools can better support these children and young people.
Ellen has a PGDE in Education with a specialism in Gaelic Education, and a Gaelic and Sociology degree from the University of Glasgow. In their spare time Ellen enjoys reading and singing in the Govan Gaelic Choir.
