About this event

It is essential for charities to take care when dealing with personal data – be it a donor database, employee records or anything else. New legislation that came into effect in May 2018, overhauled the existing regime for the first time in over twenty years.

This seminar will help charities and other organisations consider the necessary steps to take to ensure compliance and avoid the risk of fines and reputational damage.

Key Learning:

  • An overview of current data protection rules and of the upcoming changes
  • The particular impact of GDPR on charities
  • Practical steps to take in order to ensure compliance.
