Children in Scotland's Annual Conference 2017
About this event
If not you, then who?
Our annual children’s sector flagship event is a unique opportunity for those who work within the sector to meet, network, learn and debate the key issues facing the sector today.
This year, we’ll be asking - if not you, then who? You’ll have the opportunity to explore, discuss and plan how you can make a positive difference to the lives of the children and young people you work with.
Day one: Wednesday 8 November
Over 15 workshops and study trips with leading experts and current practitioners, alongside hearing the inspiring stories of Elaine Wylie and Amal Azzudin.
Day two: Thursday 9 November
Four seminars on mental health, raising attainment, food and leadership followed by a cross-sector child protection session and hearing from Sara Rowbotham (Rochdale whistleblower), Graham Andre (BBC's No More Boys and Girls) and Chelsea Cameron.
Who should attend
These two days comprise a diverse range of workshops, study trips, seminars and speakers, along with the significant children and young person involvement which characterises our annual conference.
This means that there really is something for everyone who works with children and young people.
