About this event

This free Knowledge Exchange event forms part of the CHANGE: Childcare and Nurture project, currently being implemented in Glasgow (East). Its aims are to bring together childcare providers, parents, families and the wider community to gather thoughs and ideas on childcare.
Key Learning:
  • An overview of the background and aims of the CHANGE: Childcare and Nurture Glasgow East project
  • Discussion of learning emerging from initial community engagement activities
  • Presentation and discussion of emerging findings from year one of evaluation
  • Connecting with service providers in the project area and encourage the exchange of ideas and practice
  • Exploring greater use of the outdoors for children’s services in the area
  • Considering how we can best work together enact positive change for children and families

NB - Although the project is being implemented in the Glasgow (East) area, many of the issues being covered during the course of the day will be highly relevant to other areas. Those with an interest in developing childcare provision more broadly, or in other parts of Scotland, are also welcome to attend.

The event will include input from Children in Scotland, Glasgow Centre for Population Health, Glasgow City Council, Inspiring Scotland, and more (to be confirmed shortly).
