Finland Study Visit March 2017
Learning about education, society and life in Finland
Children in Scotland is organising a study visit to Finland where delegates will have the chance to learn about education, society and life in Finland.
Scandinavian countries have long been the focus of Scotland and other UK nations, held in high esteem for their approach to – and successes in – education and childcare. Most recently, Finland has emerged as a leader for Europe on the world stage, ranking in the top ten in a recent OECD study of education systems.
This study trip will focus both on sharing best practice in education and learning, as well as covering other fascinating projects, policies and interventions that support children and young people in their everyday lives.
There are a limited number of spaces on this study visit so early booking is advised.
For more information, or to book your space, please contact Linsey Hunter: email@example.com / 0131 313 8828.
Who should attend
This will be a unique opportunity for delegates from across sectors and disciplines, and is open to anyone engaged in Scottish education or childcare - from parents to head teachers, from academics to administrators.
