• Lead interview with First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon
• Extended feature articles where each of the party leaders discuss Participation and inclusion, Early intervention and prevention, and Tackling poverty and inequality.
As the Holyrood 2016 election approaches, we use this very special issue of Children in Scotland magazine to focus on some priority areas for children and families in Scotland.
Delighted to have been awarded a platform with each of the four main Scottish party leaders, as well as first Minister Nicola Sturgeon, we ask what each have in store in some key areas, including education, health, housing, early learning and childcare, and tackling poverty.
Also in this issue; Our Chief Executive Jackie Brock encourages the sector to work together for the good of families across the country on our opinion pages, we also take the opportunity to outline the Children in Scotland manifesto for 2016-21, and we hear from a young woman who will be voting in a national election for the first time.
