The Commission for Childcare Reform and the Childcare Alliance (2014-2015)

The Commission for Childcare Reform was established in 2014 to investigate how childcare in Scotland should be provided and paid for to better suit the needs of children, their families and wider society.

The independent Commission for Childcare Reform was established by the Childcare Alliance in April 2014 to investigate how childcare in Scotland should be provided and paid for to better suit the needs of children, their families and wider society. The Commission was disbanded after publishing its final report and recommendations in June 2015. 

Children in Scotland is developing the Commission's recommendations through specific project work. Read more about this work here
