Workforce Development Conference
Improving practice, improving lives: securing better outcomes for children, young people and families
This conference, supported by the Scottish Government, will look at various issues relating to the children’s workforce, and examine what can be done to improve and build on our current structures. Looking further at the findings of the Scottish Government's debate Working it Out, and the EC funded Working for Inclusion programme; we aim to address some of the current key questions in education.
Our keynote speaker Nicola Sturgeon, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing, will be looking at tackling child poverty and increasing social inclusion. With particular focus on children aged 0-10, we will look at the issues of health and social inclusion to promote the best outcomes for children and their families.
