This is an unsalaried position but out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The successful applicant will be required to attend 5 board meetings per year.

Specialist Foster Carers

Glasgow & Surrounding Areas (Scotland only)

Salary: £24,049 - £31,453

(plus allowances when you have a placement)

We are a unique fostering service as we employ foster carers on a full-time contract.  We are looking for applicants, who are understanding, patient, and have experience of working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.  You would need to have a spare bedroom, and preferably have no children under 18 living with you.  You and your family would undergo an assessment which would take about 4-6 months.

Working as part of a professional team, you will receive:

  • A full time salary
  • A maintenance allowance when you have a young person placed with you
  • Access to 24 hour management support
  • Regular supervision
  • Relevant training
  • Access to a pension scheme

INCLUDEM

Includem is a Scottish charity dedicated to redressing the social exclusion of the most vulnerable and chaotic young people in Scotland.  We are committed to our key founding principles to challenge offending behaviour, support young people and develop hope for the future through one to one relationships.

Our services are available at the times, and in the places, where immediate support is needed;

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, in a community setting.

 

Temporary Assistant Project Worker x 3 (6 months)

Salary: £20,788 - £24,049 per annum

 

This key role requires a high degree of flexibility and commitment, providing assistance and support to deliver quality, professional, intensive supervision services to young people. The ability to demonstrate that you are able to effectively engage with young people, their families and professional workers through the development of safe, professional committed and respectful relationships is essential as is the need to be able to produce written reports and outcomes on the work undertaken.

Applicants should have experience of working with young people in trouble and you must also hold a valid driving licence with access to a car for business purposes.
